This place has been around forever and I used to take my kids 20 plus years ago. Nice waterpark, go-carts, mini-golf, arcade and indoor play area.
The Children’s Museum
Also took my kids here many years ago. Comes highly recommended by several friends with young children.
Carolina Beach Boardwalk
Rides and games and they have fireworks every Thursday night. Also a 30 minute drive but you could make a day of it and hit the aquarium
Fort Fisher Aquarium
Highly recommend, as do my friends with young children. It’s about a 30
minute drive from Wrightsville Beach but well worth it!
WECT Sounds of Summer Concerts
Live music every Thursday in June and July starting at 630pm. Just a short walk up Salisbury to the Wrightsville Beach Park.
Airlie Gardens Summer Concert Series
Outdoor and open lawn concerts in the beautiful Airlie Gardens. No food or drinks available for purchase and no seating so bring your beach chairs, blankets, coolers, food and drink, but leave the pup at home.
