Carolina Beach Boardwalk

Rides and games and they have fireworks every Thursday night. Also a 30 minute drive but you could make a day of it and hit the aquarium in the afternoon and stop at the boardwalk for dinner, evening fun and fireworks.

This place has been around forever and I used to take my kids 20 plus years ago. Nice waterpark, go-carts, mini-golf, arcade and indoor play area.
